Our client had experienced several years of problems with legacy street lighting on a residential estate. These issues included damaged older columns, difficulty with power to columns, and a poor design that meant columns were no longer positioned to provide optimum illumination, a problem that had become so bad, the local bus company suspended services along the route. We provided a design installation that utilised PV lighting, more evenly distributed and delivered on budget and on time, allowing for a safer environment and a resumption of bus services.

Asset Management

A client contacted us to discuss Street Lighting assets they had recently been commissioned to manage, over 5,000 assets. They had no data for the lighting columns, location, type and condition. Within 72 hours we had mobilised sufficient resources to put into place an Asset Inspection regime, attending each column and Geo positioning each asset, recording column type and condition. All of this data was then transferred onto an interactive map that both the client and residents can use to manage their repairs.
